Ormoc’s “2018 Best Local Meat Supplier” was awarded to “Jollypig Meatshop” during the 2018 Tatak Ormocanon Consumers’ Choice Awards (TOCCA) held on 22 June 2019 at Sabin Resort Hotel, Ormoc City.
Other nominees of this award category were: Jessie Baloro’s Meatshop and Pepe Inong Meatshop.
TOCCA was one of the segments during the 2018 Ormoc City Business Awards organised by Ormoc City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc (ORCHAM) and the City Government of Ormoc City.
Giving the awards were: Representative Lucy Torres Gomez of the 4th district of Leyte, Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez, ORCHAM President Jude Abenoja, ORCHAM Board of Trustees Chairman and Chairman of 2018 Ormoc Business Awards Stephanie Diane Chu and OIC City Licensing Office Joel Mendoza.
