July is declared as National Disaster Consciousness Month in the Philippines

Every July of the year  is declared as National Disaster Consciousness Month by virtue of Executive Order No. 137, issued on August 1999.

The theme for 2016 observance is “Kahandaan at Pagtugon sa Sakuna,Tungkulin ng Bawat Isa”.

AUSVISAYAN Chairperson Ronaldo Villaver encourages everyone to support the different activities in the Philippines as well as in Australia in the observance of this year’s National Disaster Consciousness Month.
