The VSU Department of Horticulture Alumni Association through its President, Dr. Cesar A. Limbaga, Jr initiates the “Thesis Support Grant Project” for the graduating horticulture students in collaboration with Dr. Aljay Valida, Head of the Department of Horticulture, Visayas State University (DOH-VSU) at ViSCA, Baybay City, Leyte, Philippines.
The thesis support grant project aims to provide a financial assistance in the amount of P5,000.00 to each deserving student. The fund assistance will be spent towards the cost of conducting the undergraduate thesis as well as in the cost of printing the thesis manuscripts. This assistance will surely ease the financial burden of horticulture graduating students and enable them to successfully complete their degree.
In line with this, Dr Limbaga is calling all horticulture alumni to provide the needed support by making a monetary contribution to the alumni association’s “Thesis Support Grant Project”. We strongly encourage all alumni to take part in this initiative, as your contribution – regardless of size – will make a significant impact on the lives of these students. Together, we can assist many graduating students in fulfilling their academic requirements and setting them on the path to success.
