
The Eastern Samar District Engineering Office (ESDEO) of the Department of Public Works and Highways has issued Road Advisory Number 3 after Typhoon Ambo struck Eastern Samar Province
The road advisory mentioned three road networks of concern which are the following:
- Camp 5 Boundary to Taft Road still not passable as of 14 May 2020, 8:00 pm to all types of vehicles due to possible occurrence of landslide along Binaloan, Taft road; Alternate route to all motorists bound for Eastern Samar are advised to take Jct. Buenavista – Lawaan – Marabut Road.
- Taft to Binogawan, San Policarpio Road is one-lane passable to all types of vehicles due to fallen trees scattered along national highway;
- Binogawan, San Policarpio to Arteche Road is not passable to all types of vehicles due to fallen trees that blocked the national road.
ESDEO is currently conducting its clearing operations.
