DPWH-ESDEO issued road advisory after Typhoon Ambo struck Eastern Samar Province

The Eastern Samar District Engineering Office (ESDEO) of the Department of Public Works and Highways has issued Road Advisory Number 3 after Typhoon Ambo struck Eastern Samar Province

The road advisory mentioned three road networks of concern which are the following: 

• Camp 5 Boundary to Taft Road still not passable as of 14 May 2020, 8:00 pm to all types of vehicles due to possible occurrence of landslide along Binaloan, Taft road; Alternate route to all motorists bound for Eastern Samar are advised to take Jct. Buenavista – Lawaan – Marabut Road.
• Taft to Binogawan, San Policarpio Road is one-lane passable to all types of vehicles due to fallen trees scattered along national highway;
• Binogawan, San Policarpio to Arteche Road is not passable to all types of vehicles due to fallen trees that blocked the national road.
