The Provincial Government of Biliran through Governor Gerard Espina officially opens Balay Biliranon House Number 2 on 10 June 2024 at Tacloban City, Leyte.
With the opening of the second house, Governor Espina said that the accomodation capacity of Balay Biliranon will now increased from 20 to 40 occupants.
Balay Biliranon was implemented by the provincial government to provide free accomodation to Biliranons who are patients of Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center (EVMRC) as well as those stranded in Tacloban.
