The Department of Science and Technology, Northern Samar Provincial Science and Technology Office (DOST-Northern Samar PSTO) is one of the partners of the Northern Samar Provincial Government that received the “Kauswagan Award” during the ceremony held at the province on 19 June 2024.
Engr. Veronica A. Laguitan, the Provincial Science and Technology Director accepted the award on behalf of the DOST Northern Samar PSTO.
The Kauswagan Awards recognise local government units, civil society organizations, national government agencies, and exemplary private individuals who have immensely contributed to the success of the Provincial Government’s activities, projects and programs.
The awarding ceremony was part of the month-long celebration leading up to the 59th Founding Anniversary of the Province of Northern Samar on June 19, 2024 with a theme: “A First-Class Province @59: Rediscovering Potentials Through Sun, Winds, and Tides.” (Eastern Visayas CME)
